703-494-1960 is forwarded to my house and has an answering machine
so you can leave a message. Please note we are closed on Tuesdays
and Wednesdays and the rest of the week our hours are 10-6, except
Sundays 10-4. Hope to see you all soon.
Happy Spring everyone! It is taking a bit
longer to get the store set up than we hoped. It took almost
a month to get the occupancy permit! We are going to court
on April 15th for the arson so we won't be open on that day.
Anyway, that and other set backs have pushed back our official opening
date to May 1st, but we are going to be working throughout the weeks
in April to get set up, so if you need anything come on by and we'll
try to help. The opening schedule is filling up fast, so please
call to set up your opening asap! Liner replacements too!
Please note now that we will have limited inventory, store staff, and hours this year due to the circumstances. We will be open on Thursday through Monday 10-6 and closed on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. I need a couple days to work on rebuilding at our previous location.

news! We have secured a temporary location for this
upcoming pool season. We will be opening a temporary store in Marumsco
Plaza, just 1/2 mile north of our previous location. It's in the
shopping center behind Burger Boys on rounte 1. We should be open
by April 15th. Please call if you need anything prior to this and
we will do what we can to accomodate, or if you would like to schedule
your pool opening.

Hello everyone. Thank you for your continued
concern. We will hopefully have a temporary location opening
soon, but in the meantime, we are still available for service and
we are scheduling pool openings. We have decided to offer
delivery service for chemicals and water testing until our new location
is ready. If you need something, please call or email, and
we'll do the best we can to accomodate your needs. In the

As some of you may have seen, our building was not salvageable and
had to be completely demolished. The rebuilding process is going
to take longer than we hoped and we are actively searching for a
temporary location to operate out of. We hope to be conducting business
out of that temporary location by April. We will keep you posted.
In the meantime, we have had our phone # and email access forwarded
to our house and are attempting to conduct some business from home.
Unfortunately, we are limited in capacity. We are trying to figure
out a way to at least offer some type of delivery service for chemicals
and accessories, but have not quite gotten there yet. Tom is also
trying to offer some limited service to those who need it. Please
give us a call or email if there is something you need. If we can
help, we certainly will make every effort. If not, we may be able
to give you a reference.

Announcement - Baby Boy!
For those of you who haven't heard...
Patrick Riley was born Sat., Dec. 15th @ 5:30 am, 7lbs 5oz, 19 inches,
all digits accounted for and intact. Baby and mother are well, at
home as of Sunday afternoon.
Update December 12th, 2007
Thank you all for your patience during this very trying time. Please
know we are doing everything we can to get back into operation,
however things are moving much slower than we had hoped. The investigation
is still ongoing and we do not have information to share in that
regard. Our phone lines have yet to be forwarded and we just got
our internet hook up today. We ask for your continued patience while
we re-establish our communications.
In the meantime, if we owe you a call, product,
or service, please let us know what it is and give us a few more
days to get in touch with you. Also, if you owe us for any product
or service, please send your payment to the same mailing address.
If you had previously sent in a payment, please check to see if
your check has cleared. We had not made any deposits since mid November,
so if you had sent in payment, it was destroyed in the fire with
everything else. We would appreciate any help in this area.
I will get in touch with those of you who have so
patiently waited to hear from us in the next couple days. We do
have wood pellets that we store in the pool park and can make arrangements
to meet you or deliver them if anyone would like to purchase pellets.
I am due to deliver the baby any day now and I'll
do the best I can to tie up all our loose ends and keep you all
informed of our progress. Thank you for your understanding.

Immediate Release - November 29, 2007
Playtime Pools has been the victim of a terrible tragedy. A fire
consumed our building and all of its contents Sunday night. Although
the loss is catastrophic, it was limited to material only. The Playtime
family is safe and unharmed.
The removal of debris and the ensuing investigation may take some
time. We have already begun consulting with experts in the field
to expedite the process so that we may begin the process of rebuilding
as soon as possible.
As of yet we can not be certain of the path that we will take but
rest assured we will resume business operations as quickly as possible.
